Toni Serra utilitza el suport vídeo a mig camí entre l'assaig experimental, la poesia i el documental independent. En la dècada dels noranta, l'ús del vídeo -a més d'altres suports interactius digitals- li permet investigar tant el fenomen audiovisual com el règim visual disciplinari que afavoreixen els mitjans de comunicació, en un intent de parodiar la seva seducció espectacular i desmuntar la seva capacitat hipnòtica per crear models socials i estereotips identitaris.
